MS. AASHNA CHAWLA

Aashna Chawla is a seasoned legal professional specializing in litigation, international arbitration and legal research. She holds an LL.M. from Harvard Law School, where she focused on Investment Treaty Arbitration, International Commercial Arbitration, and served as Vice-President of the Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association.
She completed her B.A. LL.B (Hons.) at Amity Law School, Delhi, and has gained significant experience through her internship at the International Chamber of Commerce in New York where she assisted the ICC Court and her roles as Junior Attorney and Tribunal Secretary with Mr. Ciccu Mukhopadhaya, as well as Law Clerk to Hon’ble Ms. Justice Indu Malhotra at the Supreme Court of India. She has prepared case briefs and research memoranda on critical arbitration topics and contributed to landmark cases such as the de-criminalization of homosexuality in India.
Additionally, Aashna was the primary Research Associate for an authoritative commentary titled “Malhotra’s Law and Practice of Arbitration in India & She is admitted to practice law in India and is an active member of various arbitration groups, including YIAG, YSIAC, and YAAF. Aashna also engages in volunteer work with the IDIA Kerala LLM Mentorship Program and is a Paul Harris Fellow of the Rotary International Foundation.
